Current research interest: Environmental concerns of CAFOs as a point source pollution of P have led to the scrutiny of overfeeding P. Investigations of this research will entail, reductions in P content in TMRs for dairy cows, aiming to more accurately predict true P requirement; furthermore, allowing a reduction in P excretion. Current values of P excretion have been speculated to be inaccurate; therefore, this research on P will also include a more accurate prediction of P utilization and excretion, most specifically in commonly used feed ingredients and furthermore, novel feed ingredients i.e. DDGS.
