Academic Quadrathlon

Eligibility

The local competition consists of three divisions:

Freshman Division:  All team members must be first-year college students.

Open Division:  The winner in this division represents VT at the regional competition.  Teams typically consist of Jr/Sr members but younger students may participate in the senior division.

HINTS ON TEAM FORMATION:  The most successful teams have members who work well together, and include expertise in a variety of skills and knowledge.  Winning teams often are those that are consistently in the top three in each phase of the contest, not necessarily those with the most “brain power.”
