Major, Minors: Animal Science and Biochemistry with Chemistry minor.

Background: From Crozet, Virginia which is right near Charlottesville but I fell in love with Virginia Tech and Blacksburg and applied early decision here after attending Governor's school for Agriculture and Life Sciences.

Activities: Student lab assistant in Dr. McElroy's Poultry Immunophysiology lab, member of the Wesley foundation.

Interests: Working with animals, playing intramural sports at Tech, molecular biology and chemistry, bioinformatics, and genomics.

Future Plans: Pursue research after either grad school or bet school. Focus on toxicology, epidemiology, or pathology.
