VT Block and Bridle accepts pledges twice per year, at the beginning of each semester. In order to become part of the pledge class, a student must meet the objectives list below and must complete an application that will be available on the Block and Bridle bulletin board (located in Litton Reaves hall on the first floor) the first week of each semester. Pledging consists of getting to know faculty and members, earning services hours and taking quizzes on the history and regulations of the Block and Bridle Club.

Qualifications:
1) No person shall be invited to join except with a quality credit average of 2.00 or above.
2) No person will be invited to join except by 2/3 vote of all active members
3) No person will be invited to join unless they are enrolled as a student in a two year or four year program offered at Virginia Tech.
4) A person who is associated with Virginia Tech as a graduate student, professor, or in some other capacity who has been a member of this club or any other recognized club can become an active member by paying chapter dues; if not, the person will be recognized as an associate member. Alumni classified as active members will have all privileges of dues paying members.
